Hello to the few readers that have stumbled upon my pointless little time waster known as a blog. I am a 24-year-old girl raised and living on the outskirts of Washington D.C. (hardly the site of excitement). Inspired by my soul mate, "I'm From Rolling Stone"'s Krystal Jagger Simpson, who runs a terrific blog called "What Is Reality Anyway?", I joined Blogger. I'm a writer by trade, but my other huge, obsessive, heart-throbbing passion is rock n' roll, and everything about it. From the age of 15, when I bought Guns n' Roses' landmark masterpiece, Appetite For Destruction, my world has never quite been the same. I love learning new things, traveling, meeting new and interesting people, and expressing myself via writing and art, as whimsical as such expressions may be. I hope that one day I acquire the discipline needed to run a really successful blog, but until then, I'll consider this a boredom-curer and opportunity to share my passion (and collection of rock n' roll pics that I've scanned and wasted god knows how many thousands of dollars on) with hopefully some people who feel the same! After all, and I mean this not to be self-deprecating, I can't imagine that there are too many people in the world who are dying to hear my thoughts on things like Stones goddesses Anita Pallenberg and Marianne Faithfull and their loss of identity in the wonderfully misogynist world of rock n' roll in the late '60s.
